Bucharest Transport

A metro network and a surface transport network made the Bucharest transport network although there is multiple connection points, the two systems operate independently of each other, are run by different organizations and use separate ticketing systems. Due to this, the Bucharest transportation is the largest transport network in Romania. The two transport systems were unified in January 2007, and the Bucharest Metropolitan Transport Board established and a single ticketing system.
